Hello,
I want to preface my ask with a very clear disclaimer: I am not looking to solicit any investors who are kind enough to respond to my help request. I genuinely want to get advice without the fear of an ask being at the end of it.
As background, I am a self-funded searcher, and am happy being self(spouse)-funded because of the various degrees of freedom that this brings with it. However, I would like to line up potential investors who'd be willing to invest in me if the right opportunity presents itself.
With this in mind, I was hoping to get some guidance/mentorship from investors in this community on making a good pitch. I'd like to learn more about what you like to see in a pitch, what attributes you like, what puts you on guard, what information is important to you, etc. I do not want to use this information to mold myself to a favorable pitch, but rather to know what about myself and my plans to highlight so that I am making the best use of everyone's time. and also not selling myself short.
If anyone is willing to spend some time talking to me, I'd really appreciate it.
