Is Axial worth it for sourcing deals?

My partner and I are looking for a business between $500k-1M EBITDA. I recently looked at the listings on axial.net and it looks like there are a few listings not available on bizbuysell and a few other sites. Their pricing structure looks pretty expensive though (5% on the first $1M, then 4% on the next $1M, etc.).

What has been your experience with Axial? Is it worth the price tag? Thank you!

Agreed it's probably worth going for if you're sourcing through intermediaries. It's typically a success fee model so there's no $ cost unless you're actually closing a deal sourced through them. Helpful to get you in the flow of evaluating deals, particularly early on. The art is in the industry/other deal filters to ensure what you're seeing is relevant for your search.

I'd say it's worth it, just be aggressive about suppressing intermediaries who are distributing their deals publicly on bizbuysell and the like. In my opinion if you find a non-public deal via axial it's worth the success fee, and if you don't find a deal then you're out nothing but might get introductions to new brokers who don't use public listings.
