Is ETA possible for disabled veterans?

Hi all.

I've been on here a long time and followed a lot of great posts and conversations. I wonder, though, if anyone thinks it would be a good idea for a brain-function-disabled veteran to either start or buy a business. The idea of financial freedom and desire are there, but memory and concentration are lacking. At the risk of sounding negative, perhaps giving up on this particular goal is warranted in favor of something else that lends itself to such disabilities?

I'd love to hear what you all think.

HI Zachary, I have come across 2 broker listed businesses where the buyer MUST be a disabled veteran (or other minority). I assume these are just the tip of the iceberg and these restrictions reduce the level of competition, thus enabling better deals. I hope this is helpful. Happy to help anyway I can.

Don’t give up, lean in. The beauty of ETA is you get to pick your business & your team - just like everyone else in the space, you can decide to add/subtract based on the complimentary skills needed to be most successful! Memory tough, find a trusted colleague who remembers everything … hard to concentrate, find a solid Chief of Staff who can keep on top of a ton of details & make sure you have what you need to do what you need to do. And then all those things you’re AMAZING at, lean into those …. not a single one of us this on this platform doesn’t have something they don’t have to manage around. Thank you for your service and sacrifice. Go get ‘em!!!
