Hi, I am looking to acquire a semi absentee business located 1 hour from my current location. I intend to run it while working full time. Is this actually a feasible path? Did anyone accomplish this? Any suggestions?

I believe it is doable, but not immediately. There will be a transition period where you will be spending significant time learning the business. I would look to see what type of management is in place. Are there key people who are running the day to day operations? What is the role of the current owner in terms of running the day to day?

Yeah I don't want to be a broken record. But the only question that matters here is - is that what you want to do? Technically speaking you can.. depending on your day job. From my opinion one tends to take over as the main and one becomes the secondary. So it depends on which one you want? What's the end goal? Remember - "the man who chases two squirrels catches none". Corny.. but I find it as a helpful reminder.
