Is it? "Merry Christmas" or "Bah Humbug"

Merry Christmas to legitimate dealmakers. Bah Humbug to the rest. There is so much good, wonderful, and mutually beneficial activity among the legitimate people buying and selling small and midsize businesses. But beware of and avoid the promising charlatans preying on SMB sellers and buyers. False promises. Conflicts of interest. Phony testimonials. Why? Because too many people buy the wrong business or to buy the right business the wrong way. Or fail to buy any business, yet waste lots of money and time deploying unreliable directions. One way to begin this process is for everyone to update or not sign NDAs and confidentiality agreements that don't adequately provide MUTUAL protection and PROHIBIT improper use of artificial intelligence. I'm suggesting this because I've yet to see an NDA that satisfactorily covers both of those issues. Have you? Can you, in the comments, point out organizations and people on the SMB dealmaking playing fields that offer BOTH of those protections? Let's publicize them, and patronize them. BTW 🤔 What are the benefits and risks of having or not having both of those protections in NDAs for the buyers and for the sellers of SMBs. What about for business brokers and professional advisors involved in SMB M&A transactions?
