Is there a Similar Group like SearchFunder for Operators?

In January I successfully acquired a niche manufacturing business. In my search process I found Searchfunder to be helpful and was hoping something similar would exist for operators. I have looked at Vistage and EOS groups which both seem helpful but feel the costs are significantly more than the services they offer.

The few lower cost alternatives I have seen such as on the internet or chamber of commerce feel like they get dominated by struggling business owners or people trying to start a business. That is great and I hope people achieve their dreams but I want to network with people facing similar experiences as I am on a daily basis.

Are there any helpful networking groups or operating groups that would be beneficial for a lower middle market owner/operator but have a more modest price point than Vistage and EOS?

Congrats on your acquisition! If you haven't already, start your EOS journey by reading Traction as you'll gain valuable knowledge on three key areas you can self-implement: effective planning, goals and accountability, and ensuring the right people are in the right seats. You'll lay the groundwork for maximizing EOS benefits when you're ready to engage a fractional COO/implementor as you'll know where you need customized support. As a manufacturer, be sure to explore your local/county/state Manufacturing Extension Program, Workforce Development, and Industrial Development authorities to further support your growth and success. They often are great free to low cost resources, can connect you with a support network, and can help you grow and compete.

^redacted‌ - feel free to ask your manufacturing questions on Searchfunder and I can tag the folks with relevant industry experience.

In the future, when all companies have been purchased by Searchers, I expect there to be a lot more industry discussion here :-)
