Hello I am in pursuit of a IT company. I already own a custom computer company that makes computers for businesses, gamers, day traders, architectural/construction firms etc they also install servers. We provide computers for several MSP's in the area. My company is mainly a computer sales company but we already do a bit of IT work ~15% of Revenue for our clients. We build build custom desktop and laptop computers, computer repairs, and IT services. Selling computers, tablets, monitors, computer accessories, computer parts, servers, phone systems, TV's etc. We are considering buying an IT company $1.2M revenue ~$400k SDE 70% of their revenue is monthly contracts the rest is one off jobs. I could use the advice of others for: 1- I would like to discuss with anyone willing to guide me on the process of merging/acquiring an IT company 1b- your take on whether I should merge the companies into one brand or keep them separate brands. 1c - a complete new brand or pick one of the two companies to keep the brand with. 2- what I need to look out for in due diligence 3- what multiples you see for a IT company of this size 4- your thoughts on the industry
