Just some interesting insights from 2024

I've seen a few threads asking about timelines or conversion percentages from leads to LOIs or LOIs to closing. So thought I'd share our data for 2024 as we just finished compiling it.
Context for the below:
- >> these are US deals
- >> SBA wheelhouse (sub $6M EV between $250k and 2M EBITDA)
- >> Individual buyers
- >> all on-market deals in this data set a mix of direct broker sites and aggregators/listing sites
As of today we have 20+ deals in closing or closed from 2024.
We also have 40+ deals in a mix of post-LOI DD and waiting for term sheets.
The input it took:
- >> 37,905 deals reached out to
- >> 3,328 introductory calls and seller calls had pre-LOI
- >> 2,394 deal packages analyzed and vetted
- >> 205 LOIs sent
Averages:
- >> $2,029,375 Deal value
- >> 8 emails to get to full deal package or thrown away deal
- >> 18 emails from package in-hand to get to seller call
- >> 49 days from starting deal flow to having the first LOI accepted
- >> 23 days from having a seller accept an LOI to actually having docs in-hand for post-LOI DD and getting a term sheet
