Hi there - I’m rapidly heading towards a potential LOI submission for an interesting deal and was hoping to speak to larger search fund investors who might be able to write checks in the $2-5m size range. No binding commitments needed but wanted to get in front of a few folks this week. Can anyone comment on who some of the larger folks are?

For something like this, you’re best off (1) using a “one stop” SBIC solution (they’ll provide you with typically the whole check that’s structured as a mix of debt and equity); or (2) hire a LMM buy side capital originator who has deep connections w family offices and will help you raise. (2) will typically get you better terms but they take a fixed or % fee for their services. (1) is usually more straightforward since it’s one check but the debt piece is typically very expensive paper.

can intro you to both (1) and (2) if I think you’re deal makes sense to do so/ fits the profile investors are looking for. Shoot me a note redacted
