I think the MBAs are in it, simply because there are dedicated courses on it. There isn't much awareness of ETA in the general public - I think a lot of people are aware of entrepreneurship in general obviously, but few think about purchasing as a method to get started. Totally concur that age is a state of mind - and most don't realize that most of the successful entrepreneurs that completely remade or created new industries were older: Henry Ford got Ford Motor Company going when he was 40. Ray Kroc started the McDonalds buy and build project in his 40s/50s.

You are correct in the search funds focus on recent MBA grads. I am 54 years old, lifetime entrepreneur and just 'discovered' business acquisitions 2 years ago, so kind of feel late to the game, but loving it.
