Legal Fees for Startups Seeking VC

Hi everyone, I'm working with an attorney friend and was discussing strategies for deferring legal fees until close. We're curious if anyone has a general template for legal fees that startups use to cover attorney fees when seeking venture capital.

It's not a great comparison, but it would be insightful and helpful for my friend. If anyone has anything on how legal fees are paid by the startup entrepreneurs to their attorneys please let me know and I'll reach out.
