List of Brokers to Reach Out To

Hi! My partner and I are beginning our broker outreach planning ahead of launching our search this summer and want to cultivate relationships with brokers in advance. Does anyone have a list of brokers that I could reference? How often do people usually get in touch with their broker (every month on a drip campaign, every week texting, etc.)?

With regards to your second question, how often to reach out to brokers, from my perspective (being an M&A advisor in Canada), I would say in general for smaller M&A shops (<10 deals per year) every quarter is good enough, the deal flow turns over and new clients are ready for market discussion. Every month is too soon for sure and can be a bit annoying. Good luck with your search!
