Local search in Chicago area

Can anyone share success stories of searched being sponsored even though they were concentrating on a single metropolitan area? I plan to start a search in Chicago and want to see if sponsored search is an option with geographic limitation, but in a really good market.

It can work as long as you find an investor who lives in that area, and sees value in having their investment be in his/her back yard. Some investors prefer to be local and invest in their communities. They are harder to find, but they are usually on the boards of local non-profits. If you are looking for this type of investor I would start there.
