What platforms do people like / utilize for doing local demographic research / market analysis? Population trends, per capita income, etc. Trying to evaluate data on different markets for service business.

Any recs would be appreciated.

Ibis world which you can get access to here on SF is pretty good and a great place to start. You can then combine with demographic / msa info from gov't sources like treasury, regional Feds and depts like labor and agriculture.

https://census.gov/quickfacts is great for demographic data. It allows you to filter data as granularly or broadly as you want
