Looking for a capital partner to back my UK search phase

Hi all, I am building Lockford Capital, a UK-focused search and buy-and-build strategy in the security and access control space. I am early in the search phase and actively speaking with sellers. I am confident in my ability to structure and raise deal-specific capital once a transaction is agreed. Where I am looking for support is the search phase itself. Specifically, I am exploring a structure where a small number of investors back the search with modest, regular capital to cover month-to-month costs and allow me to run the process properly and at pace. My background is as an operator rather than a career investor. I previously bought, operated, and am exiting a service business in London, and came into this sector initially as a customer. The thesis is to acquire operationally strong but digitally underdeveloped businesses and compound value through systems, technology, and disciplined operations over time.
