Looking for a partner in Dallas on a professional services business

I have a strong lead on an owner who is closing in on retirement and looking to sell soon. He runs a $1 M EBITDA (unaudited) professional services business. There is some project work, but primarily recurring with a 4-5 figure/month contract. We met at a conference and got along really well. He made it very clear he would be interested in working with me as a potential buyer. Here's the problem: the business is in Dallas, the owner needs to be there, and my wife and I are not going to move to Dallas (we love where we are!). Right now I am looking for a partner who would be interested in trying to acquire together. The business is a very strong industry match for me, just not a location match, and I would plan to be heavily involved in business development. But need a partner who would be interested in being the majority owner/operator. Bonus points if you are a veteran (so is the owner). If that sounds interesting- let's have a conversation.
