looking for best resources on specific industry growth and trends

Hi all,

I'm trying to find industry specific literature in regards to growth and expected trends over the next 10 years? Deeper breakdown into existing margins and op ex would be great too, but for now, just looking for growth and trends. Is there anything out there you are already using?

Hi Adam, If IBIS World (via Searchfunder subscription) is not getting you the desired outlooks, one suggestion I have is to find the top tier public companies in a given industry and scan their investor information for any future related releases. Often times they will cite their sources behind their lead market indicators and these sources can be very valuable. Always worth reaching out and having a conversation. Good luck!

There's a number of sources you could look at. If IBIS World on Searchfunder isn't enough, you could try paid databases (e.g. EMIS) or free search engine like Google Scholar potentially? Sometimes you can find research papers looking at different industries there, depending on which industry you're looking for.
