PIC Operating Group is Seeking an Experienced M&A / Private Equity Analyst or Associate (Contract). As PIC Operating Group continues to grow, so do the size, complexity, and demands of our client engagements. We work with growing businesses ranging from $5M to $100M in revenue, as well as private equity investors and deal teams, supporting clients across various stages of growth and transactions: Growth & Value Creation: Helping businesses scale, improve operations, and increase enterprise value. Pre-Exit Preparation: Working with owners to maximize business value ahead of a potential exit. Exit Readiness: Supporting businesses actively preparing to go to market within the next 12 months. Active M&A / PE Transactions: Working alongside deal teams and investors on due diligence, financial analysis, deal structuring, and value creation opportunities, including transactions where we participate on the cap table. _______________________________________________________________________ We're looking to expand our team with an experienced M&A / Private Equity Analyst or Associate who can support our growing client needs on a flexible, project-based basis. What We're Looking For: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in investment banking, M&A advisory, private equity, transaction advisory, or corporate development. Direct involvement in at least one completed M&A transaction, from initial evaluation through due diligence and closing. Strong financial modeling, valuation, financial analysis, and due diligence capabilities. Experience working with lower-middle-market businesses and transactions preferred. Ability to work independently, exercise sound business judgment, and communicate effectively with senior leadership and deal teams. Experience on both buy-side and sell-side transactions is a plus. Engagement Structure & Compensation This will initially be a flexible, project-based independent contractor role. Hours will vary depending on client needs and active engagements, particularly as we get started.
