Found a company based out of Dubai, UAE. What are funding options for businesses outside of the US? I think SBA is out. Do US banks lend commercial loans for these situations? Open to hear from any searchers who completed an acquisition similar to this or from non-SBA lenders who can answer this would be much appreciated.

^redacted‌ I am based in UAE and have had many exchanges with international banks. The short answer is: It depends on the asset and the profile of the buyer. Banks will be more concerned about risk when financing outside the USA, especially in regions like the Middle East. There is still a bit of skepticism around the UAE (unjustified, in my opinion). Many financing institutions will look at deals starting at $25m+ in debt, others will start at $50m+. Locally, banks are still quite conservative but you may get around it with a big chunk of equity (I don't know how you want to structure the deal). Hope this helps.

I extended my global reach 10 years ago which has helped me to grow and get more clients in the long run. If you’re talking about funding a business startup outside the United States, I think I can be of great help to your search.
