Looking for lawyer or financial advisor with expertise in asset protection

Hi, I'm gearing up to launch a self-funded search. I've done a lot of Googling and also read through all of the Searchfunder posts/comments on the SBA 7a program and personal guarantees, and I have a few remaining questions. If possible, I'd love to connect with a lawyer or financial advisor with expertise in personal asset protection. Specific experience or familiarity with search deals, SBA financing, and the relevant laws in Colorado would be a huge plus. Thanks!

Dave - I work primarily in Main Street/LMM M&A, and while I'm not deeply familiar with the specifics of Colorado's debtor laws and how they may or may not pertain to a SBA personal guarantee, I would encourage you to have a frank and transparent discussion (perhaps by phone, rather than email, and perhaps using hypotheticals, rather than your specific factual situation) with some knowledgeable SBA lenders, many of whom can be found here on Searchfunder.
