Hello,
Has anyone had experience partnering with an full-time operator to purchase and manage a business? (both partners with skin in the game but with the operator-partner earning salary as well). Any advice or experience you care to share with this model?

If you have a partner, what are the ways you've made connections? Seems to me this website is a good place. And perhaps there are organizations/groups that may connect searchers locally/in-person.

If you're reading this and interested in connecting on a potential partnership, please send me a message.
I have an MBA and a decade of program management experience. I don't plan to or want to leave my full-time, however, I still want to be involved and add value from my skillset. I'm good at streamlining operations, developing systems/SOP's, and managing strategic initiatives/relationships. I also bring strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
Full-disclosure, I do have geographic constraints and will only operate in northern California. Somewhat industry-agnostic with preference for service industries with lower capEx.

Cheers!

I believe this is the right place to connect with operators like myself. I have a small ownership in the current business I work at, acting as a VP of Operations managing multiple manufacturing sites here in SoCal.
Happy to connect if you want to chat.
