A few weeks ago I was catching up with a West Point classmate of mine who is about nine months into his search. Deal flow had picked back up after the new year and he was getting buried in broker packages. We got on the topic of AI and he asked if I could build something to help. I'm a 0-to-1 entrepreneur focused on building with AI, so I took it on. The result is SearchLens. You upload whatever you have, a CIM, financials, or a full data room, and get back a structured investment memo with normalized EBITDA, add-back analysis, and a pass/proceed/IOI recommendation. The goal is to compress the time between receiving a broker package and making an informed decision. Beyond the memo itself, we also score each deal against your investment criteria so you can triage your pipeline. When you're seeing a high volume of deals, you don't have time to run everything through a full process. SearchLens is meant to help you decide quickly what deserves your attention and what doesn't. If you're feeling overwhelmed by the volume of broker packages coming in, or just curious about whether there's a better way, drop a comment or send me a message. I'll load up your account with credits so you can run some deals through it and tell me what you think. One more thing. I'm not a searcher myself, but I spent most of the holidays binge-listening to Acquiring Minds and Think Big Buy Small. I have a lot of respect for what this community is doing and I'd love to build something that actually helps.
