My name is Philip, and I was a self-funded searcher back in 2019 before I bought my business that year. Four years later, as I transition to the next chapter of my career, I want to share what I learned during the search and operating phases (including the top 10 things I would do differently if I was searching again in###-###-#### with fellow self-funded searchers.

Feel free to comment here or message me if you want to meet up. Happy to share what I know to help you have a more successful search and operating CEO experience.

^redacted‌, thanks for pouring your heart out during the meet-up. I really appreciate your humble approach to looking at things you can't control. Operating a successful service business can be highly rewarding, but it requires a lots of field experience. If you have not been in the trenches, running any service business with too any moving parts, specially the labor and equipment issues, can be very challenging. Wish you all the best for your next adventure. Keep enjoying the journey!

Hi ^redacted‌, I'd like to chat! redacted My business partner ^redacted‌ and I are full-time, self-funded searchers. Also, I organize a 100+ searcher group in Houston where I put together monthly in-person, searcher-only events with a speaker. Do you ever come to Houston? Looking forward to chatting by email.
