Hi Evelyn, here's a few thoughts: first, ask around to deal-makers you trust to see who they recommend. Second, do a bunch of initial consults. They should be free (be very skeptical of the attorney who charges for an initial consult). Ask a lot of questions about experience, communication style, and fee structure! You really will benefit from having someone you work well with. Finally, I did a Searchfunder Webinar on the topic of choosing an attorney (in particular for smaller deals) a while back.
