Hi all, I am running a self-funded search through 3RS Holdings — a three-person, Houston-based team looking to acquire and operate our first business. We're industry-agnostic but have built a recent focus on the fire protection & life safety (F&LS) space across the Texas triangle. Two asks below — one for industry folks, one for anyone who knows of a seller. Full Disclosure: We have little to some professional exposure to the industry. Two asks 1) Operators & advisors — If you've run, worked in, or advised a fire protection company, I'd value a call. Trying to learn more about the industry. 2) Sellers, brokers, intermediaries — If you know an owner in Houston, Austin, or San Antonio thinking about succession or a transition exit in the range below, I'd welcome a warm intro. Buy-box Industry: Fire protection & life safety — ITM (inspection/testing/maintenance), sprinkler, fire alarm, suppression, extinguisher service, or integrated. Open to fire protection engineering/consulting firms. Geography: Houston, Austin, or San Antonio. Houston-based, hands-on locally. Cash flow: $750K – $1.5M SDE / adjusted EBITDA, consistent history Revenue mix: Prefer a meaningful recurring ITM or monitoring book, but open to install-heavy shops. Owner profile: Founder/owner seeking succession; 12–24 month transition. Licensing: Texas SFMO / TDLR licensure (RME-G, APS, EPL, or SFMO sprinkler/alarm/extinguisher) preferred. NICET depth a plus. Thanks, Chris

Great post and questions Chris - interested to hear what you find from others. I found some consolidation is occurring in this space from the little research I did. Good luck!

@redacted‌ I met with Collin at the Entry&Exit podcast a few months ago. He and his partner are rolling up fire & safety inspection firms also. redactedredacted They're both really good guys, if you reach out directly to them they'd be a super good resource.
