For M&A Attorneys:

Does the acquiring entity's registered state matter to you? A lot of searchers register their NewCo in Delaware with the business they are acquiring located in another state, while you as a legal professional are licensed to practice law in other states, potentially. Can you only support deals in a state you are licensed in? Do most M&A attorneys get licensed in their home state and in Delaware?
