M&A Firm Intern

Job Summary:
As a M&A Intern at Vamos M&A Advisors, you will play a crucial role in helping the team generate new sell-side clients. You will assist, and in some instances lead, a wide range of activities, including outbound calls, process development, and content generation. This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills and experience in the growing field of Small & Medium Business (SMB) Mergers and Acquisitions in Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Campaigns: You will assist in our omnichannel approach to reaching business owners, including making calls on the firm's behalf.
Content Generation: You will be responsible for reviewing industry newsletters and other industry publications to assist in creating new content for the firm.
Weekly Reporting: You will meet with the Partner on a weekly basis to present your “Scorecard” on the tasks on hand. This session will include mentoring.
Qualifications:
Strong communication skills
Ability to take direction and constructive feedback
Professional level English
A proactive approach and a strong desire to learn and grow within the M&A field
Requirements:
Located in Canada
Able to work at least 20 hours per week
Pursuing a career in M&A
Compensation:
For every lead that is generated through your efforts, you will have the opportunity to observe deal meetings throughout the deal’s duration. This may be on Zoom calls, or it may mean you can watch the recordings afterwards
For every lead generated that amounts in deal fees, there will be flat fee commissions paid to the Intern. This applies to after the internship is completed as well.
Opportunity to participate in valuation reviews, and assist in other areas of interest within the business.
Future paid work opportunities will be present as well
