Paradigm Shift Media (PSM) is actively acquiring companies in the news, media, and marketing sectors, and we’re building a lean, hungry team of deal originators to help us find and close the right opportunities.
What We're Offering:
This is not your average sales job. We're offering a unique hybrid position where you'll develop high-level skills in deal sourcing, sales, finance, and M&A, all while having a real ownership stake in the businesses you help bring in.
Your core responsibilities:
Cold outreach to business owners (calls, emails, LinkedIn, etc.)
Building and managing a pipeline of acquisition targets
Vetting inbound leads and initiating introductory calls
Coordinating with our executive team and advisors to move deals through the funnel
We provide simple, effective scripts and templates, and you’ll receive training to sharpen your cold calling, deal negotiation, and communication skills.

💰 Performance-Based Compensation:
Earn up to $200,000 per deal in success fees for bringing in businesses we acquire. No ceiling - your hustle determines your income. (Note: This is 100% performance based. Student who need to prioritize debt and/or expenses should consider another opportunity).

Who We're Looking For:
Highly motivated self-starters
Excellent communicators with a strong phone presence
Interest in business, media, finance, or startups
Sales experience is a plus, but not required - we care more about drive and attitude than your resume
Responsibilities
Source acquisition opportunities by conducting outbound outreach via phone, email, and social platforms (cold calling, LinkedIn, etc.)
Maintain and manage a personal pipeline of prospects using provided CRM tools and reporting systems
Conduct preliminary calls with business owners to gather high-level financial, operational, and strategic information
Coordinate with internal leadership team to transition qualified leads to active negotiations
Follow templated outreach scripts and email frameworks, while refining your personal communication style with ongoing feedback and training
Build long-term relationships with sellers, brokers, and industry contacts to foster trust and increase sourcing opportunities
Continuously learn about industry trends, business models, and acquisition strategies to improve your sourcing performance
Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate clearly and confidently across mediums
Comfortable with outbound sales activities, including cold calling
Self-motivated with a high level of personal accountability; capable of working independently in a remote or hybrid environment
Genuine interest in business, entrepreneurship, media, or finance
Basic proficiency with CRM tools, spreadsheets, and communication platforms (or a willingness to learn)
Adaptable and coachable, with a willingness to receive feedback and improve rapidly
No degree required, but prior experience in sales, business development, or communications is a strong plus
Ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain enthusiasm throughout the sales cycle
