I would recommend McGuireWoods, based in Dallas. They are excellent, a bit on the expensive side but are deeply tied into the community and can refer other business partners that you'll need to consummate a transaction.

I’ll throw in my recommendation: Jon Finger at McGuire Woods. MW is one of, if not the, leading law firms for independent sponsors and emerging managers. They are excellent. Based in Austin but have offices in other Texas cities as well --@----.com
