Maintaining CRM feels like a part-time job. Any tips?

New searcher and am finding that maintaining the CRM (esp. getting the deals entered) is a part-time job in it of itself. How are fellow searchers managing this? Any tips or tricks, especially on how to get data from multiple sources, would be really helpful.

Depending on the industry, there may be ways to get leads who will walk themselves through the pipeline with the right marketing. Are you functioning mostly through sales or do you have any marketing strategy?
