Managing Director / CEO of a portfolio company (with stock option plan)

We are looking for an entrepreneurial managing director for a business in the trade & transport of liquid food (esp. milk). About the company: Decades of history as a problem solver in business in a cooperative and stable competitive environment. Special position due to the interlocking of trade & transport, as well as numerous certifications. Long-term above average profitability (EBITDA >EUR 2M), without active sales. Ca. 60 employees, thereof 5 in administration/office. Taken over in 2022 as part of a succession situation and since then grown by c. 1/3, as well as first improvements initiated (IT, project management). About the job profile / Desired experience & skills: Operations management (P&L responsibility), personnel management and sales. Experience in the dairy segment or logistics (esp. freight forwarding) advantageous. Experience with financial investors an advantage.
