Manufacturing companies supporting the US defense industrial base (DIB)

I've started looking at manufacturing companies that produce products either for large US prime defense companies (Boeing, Lockheed, etc.) or that supply products directly to the US government. You could consider looking at the RF Microwave filters industry. I was investigating / analyzing one of the companies manufacturing these filters but the deal didn’t work out at the end.

Before buying a small business I worked at Boeing for 9 years - happy to chat if it is helpful. I considered machine shops that supply to Boeing or its suppliers, but ultimately wasn't very comfortable tying my future to the cyclicality of the industry and very high customer concentration.
