Consulting Firms often publish market deep dives that I find insightful. Small specialized M&A Brokers publish often research from the M&A view with full blown peer companies and multiples etc that are super helpful for search funds! Other than that, in PE we used to have access to Gain.Pro. I still have many of the research pdfs and publish many of them as well as my own research in my free weekly newsletter here: redacted!

For transactions in a certain space there is MergerMarkets, which I don't have access to anymore, however, some of my interns do through their business school access.
