We are seeking an MBA or Undergraduate Intern to help with our deal sourcing, and the creation of a novel ETA pilot program
As an Intern at our entrepreneurial investment firm, you will play a crucial role in the development of a pilot ETA program and overall deal sourcing process. This position offers an exciting opportunity for students passionate about mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and entrepreneurship through acquisition (ETA). You will gain hands-on experience and work closely with our experienced founder. Your primary responsibilities will include some combination of the tasks below:
Go To Market Strategy: Research and benchmark best practices of existing ETA and EIR programs, prepare strategy and marketing materials for pilot ETA program.
Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth research to identify potential target companies across various industries. Use a combination of public and private databases, internet sleuthing, trade organization lists, etc. to build comprehensive target lists.
Company Profiling: Analyze and compile profiles of target companies, including key sizing metrics, industry positioning, and strategic fit with our investment criteria.
Data Management: Maintain and update our CRM system with accurate and current information on target companies and key contacts.
Outreach Preparation: Assist in preparing and executing outreach strategies, including drafting compelling initial contact emails and supporting materials.
Owner Identification: Identify and verify the key decision-makers and owners of target companies. Gather accurate contact information, including email addresses, phone numbers, and LinkedIn profiles.
Market Mapping: Create and maintain market maps that visually represent the competitive landscape and potential acquisition targets within specific sectors.
Collaboration and Support: Work closely with the founder on special projects, due diligence, preparation of investment committee materials, etc.
