Millwork / custom cabinets expertise

Hi - Does anyone have experience with companies that do millwork, especially for commercial customers?

I am an industry outsider exploring the purchase of one of these companies, but it is challenging without having industry expertise.

Any insights or introductions would be much appreciated

I have limited experience as I spoke with a few millwork companies to gauge their interest in buying a flooring retailer. No one in my sample was interested in vertical integration.
