Minimising/staging UK deal fee's

Looking to the community for any advice on minimising and staging deal costs.

We are in the final stages of getting a business under HoT's, we have compiled a prioritised DD request list based on us performing our own business DD before contracting legal and financial DD support. Objective is to identify any red flags before racking up too many costs.

We have a raising a portion of debt to finance the transaction are being guided that there FDD and legal fees will range from £40-60k, for our account on top of any costs incurred by our DD.
