I have been working in this field for many years.. Seeing a lot of people struggle with both what is possible and how to apply the technology in a useful way. Offering to share my knowledge and experience.

I’ve been thinking there is an opportunity to create an AI/ML solution for the trades and other service industries to help automate redundant tasks, improve customer experience, spot trends and seasonality, personalize content for clients, etc. The promise and potential of AI is great but maybe a bit too complicated for most SMB proprietors. A small/specific language model limited to in-house data and specific curated data sources wrapped in a GUI with preprogrammed prompts and small enough footprint to run on mobile devices in the field with or without connectivity could be a great tool. Even better if could plug-in to apps like ServiceTitan.

Sorry missed the notification ^redacted‌. I don’t think there are industries that are in/out of scope per se. More making sure that you’re focused on solving a bounded problem to begin with, as otherwise the complexity increases and the solve tends to one for the lowest common denominator.

Prioritisation of workflow shouldn’t be a surprise. Repeatable, codify-able processes, where there is a natural human escalation point and you’re comfortable with the stochastic nature of the AIs response.
