MOD Pizza plans on selling some (many? all?) of its corporate stores to franchisees. A lot of these restaurants will be going at really low prices.
And remember, the underperformance of a franchise as a whole is not necessarily indicative of individual franchisees' financials.

Hi guys, I’ve was a searcher all last year with a couple failed restaurants deals but I now moonlight at a restaurant business brokerage.

Our brokerage has these MOD stores listed. We will be selling ~200 of the corporate stores to franchisees in various markets. We listed several markets on Friday, including packages in UT, AZ, NC, and OR with more to come.

Multiples are low due to several factors. I’d be happy to discuss with anyone interested. Just email me at: redacted

I'm curious how these processes usually run. Would you happen to have any insight? I imagine they approach larger franchise operators first and make larger deals instead of going directly to the market for buyers, leaving little room for small independents.
