Nail salon consolidation - does anyone have experience in this industry?

I'm exploring a thesis around acquiring /consolidating independent nail salons and curious if anyone has spent time in the space. Potential attractive elements on the surface:

- Highly fragmented - numerous targets
- Low multiples in 1-3x SDE range
- Substantial repeat customers / re-occurring revenue
- Opportunity to consolidate accounting/payroll/procurement across stores
- Solid margins (25%+) for seven-figure salons

Hi OP, what did you end up finding on nail salons? The low barrier to entry, necessity, etc., are concerning, but it does seem the right location with the right clientele is an interesting opportunity.
