Nashville Area - $3.3M Rev Fencing Contractor & Material Supplier

I’m reaching out to see whether any Searchfunder users might be interested in a real, near-term acquisition opportunity that would be an excellent "starter business" for a searcher. I am currently under LOI (for the second time lol) on a residential fencing contractor that also provides materials to other fencing contractors (35% of revenue). This business is located within close proximity to Nashville (Sumner County, TN). The business finished 2025 with $3.3M in revenue and did $612k of verified earnings (about $750k SDE). The seller has built a straightforward operating model, a small team, and easily-replicable processes across more geographies. Moreover, the seller will be retaining 15% of the new business moving forward and will move to a future geography to open up, should the new owner desire. In short, it’s a very manageable, “learn-by-doing” business for a first-time operator. While I believe strongly in the opportunity, I do not have the bandwidth to step in as the full-time operator. Instead, I’m exploring whether a Searchfunder would be interested in leading the business day to day as an owner-operator. I'd be: - Providing a portion of the required equity capital - Serving as an active mentor and board-level advisor - Offering ongoing coaching, strategic guidance, and oversight post-close The goal would be to partner with a motivated operator who wants real responsibility, meaningful ownership, and hands-on ETA experience — with support, but not micromanagement.
