I'm a self-funded independent searcher looking at light industrial manufacturing or wholesale distribution opportunities $1-5M in revenue, centered on the Hudson Valley region of NYS.
I've been in initial education and networking mode the past few weeks, and I'd like to thank this community for the incredible transparency and supportiveness I've seen here already.
I'm now starting to ramp up the search in earnest. Having initially figured that there was little focused broker coverage in this area and therefore that proprietary would be my primary approach, I'm now realizing that in fact any northeast or even national broker may have deals come up that fit my target criteria, so I'm now reaching out to initially establish those relationships, and then will kick off my proprietary 'engine'.
Excited to be on this journey; any and all advice and support well-taken - thanks in advance - and look forward to sharing my learnings back here too.
