Hi

I am new here and currently raising traditional search fund to acquire a manufacturing or SaaS business in the US that could benefit from building-out cost-effective and socially-empowering supply chain pathways in Africa.

I have considerable operations and b2b business development experience and will like to be hands-on in the operations day-to-day ... are there some noteworthy challenges identified for searchers and/or business operators with a foreign background?

Looking forward to connecting with searchers and investors in this space. I am open to partnerships, insight into other industries and search fund strategies.

Welcome ^redacted‌! So glad to have you. That's incredible, and I love your mission. From a legal perspective, there may be a few more matters you'll need to address if you're not a U.S. resident or citizen. It just depends on your legal structure, where you're forming your company, etc. I'd be happy to discuss this further. Banking and lending can be a bit different because banks require know your customer compliance documents to be filled out and there are certain restrictions on opening up bank accounts and lending for certain foreigners. I have many foreign client and would be happy to discuss this further if you'd like.
