Company: Consumer electronics brand with a multi-decade history of innovation and leadership with a small niche / enthusiast audience. Low SKU count, high-end performance / quality at an accessible price point, outsourced manufacturing, in-house design, asset- and employee-light operation.

Situation: Owner is product engineer / designer and is seeking someone to drive sales / marketing and elevate the business. Product visibility primarily from organic reviews within the enthusiast audience and all sales are DTC - i.e. there's likely meaningful low-hanging fruit with basic digital marketing and / or additional sales channels.

Opportunity: Owner is open to a range of possibilities - he's genuinely passionate about the brand / product and wants to see it have success. Part-time engagement (remote) for equity with option to buy seems most appropriate - interesting for someone with a job that wants a low-risk entry into ETA and has a relevant sales / digital marketing skill set. Near term sale unlikely given disconnect between current and potential performance and owner importance to product design, and a full-time salary would strain cash flow.
