We build target lists from scratch, against your actual search criteria. You tell us the vertical, geography, size, and thesis you're searching on. We don't filter someone else's database. We research the market and build the list around your criteria. Each list answers what you'd want to know before you reach out: • Size: how big the company actually is. Triangulated from employee count, fleet/DOT records, locations, permit volume, license counts, and review activity. No single source means much on its own; when three or four line up, you get a band you can trust. • Owner: full name, verified email, and a direct phone when we can find one. If the footprint is too thin, we say so instead of giving you a guess. • Acquisition status: independent, PE-backed, recently acquired, or under LOI when the trail is visible. From state filings, registered-agent changes, press, and LinkedIn role changes. • How it runs: owner-led or GM-run, customer-mix tells from reviews and case studies, and a read on recurring vs project from website and job-posting language. Cleaner in some industries than others, and we say which. • Who else is buying in the metro: recent transactions and corp-dev moves at adjacent acquirers. We always start with a small sample. Pick a real slice of your search (one sub-vertical in one metro, 10 to 20 companies) and we'll run it. You see the output before paying for anything bigger, and we see whether the search is something we can deliver on. Not every search is a fit and we also hold non-competes in a few verticals. We work best when your criteria are tight enough to narrow on, and when the market is fragmented and owner-led. If the brief is too vague (something like "any profitable business in [a wide region]"), we'll say so and pass. DM or email redacted and we'll set up the sample.
