OLTA SF1 – Infrastructure-Adjacent Search Fund in Germany

Dear Searchfunder Community, Following my recent post on OLTA’s infrastructure co-investment activities, I would like to introduce OLTA SF1, the first search fund under the OLTA platform. OLTA is an investment platform dedicated to acquiring and supporting infrastructure and infrastructure-adjacent businesses. While we opportunistically pursue co-investments in core infrastructure assets alongside reputable private equity owners, we seek to execute control acquisitions in infrastructure-adjacent SMEs through the search fund model. OLTA SF1 represents the first vehicle within this latter strategy. The fund targets asset-light, infrastructure-adjacent SMEs in Germany that are essential to the country’s renewal efforts and succession landscape. Specifically, OLTA SF1 focuses on businesses with: - Enterprise Value: €5–25 million - EBITDA: €1–5 million with >15% margins - Business Model: service or OEM-light B2B models built on infrastructure demand - Owner Profile: founder-led, succession-driven (incl. special situations) - Operating History: >15 years OLTA has partnered with a strong, operationally experienced searcher, combining technical expertise and leadership experience within Germany’s industrial SME landscape. Furthermore, OLTA takes an active, on-the-ground role throughout the sourcing, diligence, acquisition, operation and exit phases. Together with OLTA SF1's aligned advisors, we aim to leverage our experience and network to professionalize and scale infrastructure-adjacent businesses while preserving the values that make them unique.
