What are the online resources to find businesses (apart from going through individual brokers and directly approaching owners). I know about bizbuysell.com, loopnet, axial, acquire.com. Are there any others that others have found quality deals in?

I second what ^redacted‌ wrote. Best is to have a thesis and where you personally fit in that thesis so that you can make your target sell to you, and you only. Net/net, it looks harder but works better and gets easier. Analogy is seeking a job: Nobody gets a job these days by spray and pray a generic resume to 100 openings a day at LinkedIn. But if you doggedly go after 10 companies with all you got, and put in the work, you'd get in there eventually.

I've found withkumo.com to be pretty helpful. It's an aggregator that pulls from a lot of the platforms you mentioned, so saves me a lot of time. It also has a easy to use interface to enable filtering/searching etc. The only thing is that for the full experience it is subscription based
