Operations Associate (New York)

Obsidian Point Partners is a Financial Sponsor focused on investing in North American based lower middle market businesses. We look for differentiated businesses with local competitive advantages, strong cash flow profiles, and low leverage. In our most recent transaction, our affiliate company acquired Bus & Truck of Chicago (BTC). BTC is the largest commercial vehicle maintenance and remanufacturing business in Illinois, and one of the top ten largest in the country with revenues of $6.5MM in 2018. We see the opportunity to build upon the platform the former management has created at BTC as well as the best practices we have established at Obsidian Point Partners and we are looking for an Operations Associate Intern to help us achieve our vision. Preferred Profile: MBA or Graduate level Intern with 3+ years of work experience in accounting, financial research, investment or commercial banking. Interest in Operations, Private Equity / Private Transactions. Strong financial modeling experience is required.
