Operators - how are you using workflow automation?

I am closing on my first acquisition next week, it's small blue-collar services business. There are several manual, repetitive processes that our technicians and office staff do on a regular basis. Things like uploading and collating service photos, scanning and emailing service reports, sending out various pre and post service customer emails, etc. I think there is significant opportunity to automate a lot of these tasks and free up time for my folks to allow for easier scaling. How have you all seen workflow automation used at your companies or your client's companies? I'm looking at tools like Zapier, Make, and Power Automate.
