Opinion on duo searchers vs solo searchers

Hello,

I am doubting whether I should invite a friend to become my partner and do a search fund together. He certainly would increase the expected outcome as his skillset differs from mine, and we would cover eachothers weak spots. I am aware that it would financially be less attractive than doing a solo search. Has anyone done a duosearch before and what were the results?
