For New Searchers beginning their outreach
I could not figure out why my outreach metrics were poor. Are you willing to let nearly 1200 messages go flat? with a 14% response rate?
Professional email – Choose a simple domain that reflects your mission and a reputable ESP/CRM with a clean sending reputation. Bad reputations from a CRM or a poorly hosted site can cripple emails, landing them into SPAM.
Follow‑up – Not following up is unprofessional. Send 4‑5 concise follow‑ups; completely avoid generic greetings like “How are you?”
Be concise – Pitch in the format “We do X for Y by doing Z.” If you can’t explain your idea in < 90 seconds, you lost. Cut the fluff, get straight to the point.
Be Authentic - If you don't know if some one can participate in your deal, simply ask "I'm not sure if there's a conflict, if not.. let's chat?" Put your self in their shoes, it goes a long way!
Track your performance/metrics, review them weekly/daily, and test different formats.
